Saldo Terms of Use

Last updated: 8 September 2026

Using Saldo means accepting what is here. It is written in the language you speak rather than a lawyer's, deliberately.

What Saldo is

An app for recording what you spend and setting yourself a limit per category. It shows you your own numbers; it does not manage your money, does not move it and does not connect to your bank.

What it is not

Saldo does not give financial advice. The budget it works out comes from what you tell it and what you record, and it is a tool for organising yourself rather than a professional recommendation. Decisions about your money are yours.

The subscription

Saldo Pro is sold as a subscription through the App Store, in two plans: yearly, with seven days free to begin with, and weekly.

Your account

You can use Saldo without giving an email address: the app identifies you by the device. Signing in with Apple or Google is so your data follows you to another phone. You can delete the account under Profile, and doing so deletes everything.

What we ask

That you do not try to break the service, get past the paywall, reach other people's data or use Saldo for anything unlawful. If that happens we may close the account.

What we do not promise

Saldo is offered as it is. We take care that the sums add up, but we do not guarantee the service will be available without interruption or free of errors. Check the numbers that matter against your bank. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the app; none of this limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, you are told inside the app before the change affects you.

Governing law

Spanish law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the right to bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
